Withdrawal FAQs
1. Why has my fund been sent but not received?
There are three procedures for a cryptocurrency transfer: Withdrawn from the platform ➞ Block confirmation ➞ Credited to the deposit platform.
(1) Please double-check the destination address and network, and make sure it is the same as the receiving platform.
(2) Once the fund is sent, CoinEx is unable to help get it back. Please contact the receiving platform for help if the fund hasn’t arrived.
2. How can I cancel a withdrawal, and when will the funds be refunded?
(1) If the withdrawal status is [Confirming]: Since you haven’t confirmed the withdrawal email, so no funds will be deducted, and you can cancel the withdrawal on the withdrawal details page. If the email remains unconfirmed after 24 hours, the withdrawal will be automatically canceled.
(2) If the withdrawal status is [Auditing] or [Audited]: The system has deducted the funds. You can cancel the withdrawal on the withdrawal details page, and the funds will be refunded to your spot account. You can click HERE to view the transaction history for details.
(3) If the withdrawal status is [Processing] or [Sent]: The withdrawal cannot be canceled.
3. Why is my withdrawable amount less than my available balance in my wallet?
(1) There are unmatched open orders: Please check if there are any open orders for the coins/tokens you intend to withdraw. You can click HERE to cancel these orders and restore the available balance.
(2) Confirmation requirement is not reached for withdrawal: Please check if you have any pending deposits that haven’t reached the required withdrawal confirmation (Probably the coin you intend to withdraw or any other coins) in your account. When your deposits receive enough confirmations, they will be credited to your account, and the available withdrawal balance will match its actual balance.
4. What if I make a withdrawal during wallet maintenance?
Your withdrawal won’t be sent until the maintenance is completed. You may set an alert on the withdrawal page. Once the withdrawal service is resumed, you will receive an email or an app push.
5. What should I do if I withdraw to the wrong address?
(1) You can click [Cancel] on the "Withdrawal Records" to cancel it if the status of withdrawal is "Confirming", "Auditing", or "Audited".
(2) Your withdrawal can not be canceled if the status is [Processing] or [Sent]. Digital currency transactions are irreversible. Once transferred, only the recipient can return the coin to you, and CoinEx cannot assist in asset recovery. In such cases, you should contact the receiving platform for help. If you do not know who the recipient is, the funds cannot be recovered.
6. Does CoinEx charge withdrawal fees?
(1) Inter-user transfers: We recommend using inter-user transfers if your destination address belongs to CoinEx, which incurs no withdrawal fee.
(2) External transfers: CoinEx charges a withdrawal fee (miner fee) for external transfers. For details, please refer to the Fee Standard.
7. Are there minimum or maximum withdrawal limits?
(1) Minimum withdrawal amount: CoinEx adjusts the minimum withdrawal amount based on market value and blockchain conditions. For details, please refer to the amount displayed on the withdrawal page.
(2) Maximum withdrawal limits: This is subject to the identity verification status of your account. For details, refer to this article.
8. What if the address is marked as invalid when making a withdrawal?
If the system detects an incorrect address format, it will notify you that the "address is invalid." In this case, please double-check the recipient address and network to ensure the information is accurate.
9. How is the amount calculated when withdrawing deflationary coins from CoinEx to an external address?
(1) When users withdraw deflationary coins, in addition to the withdrawal fee charged by the sending platform, a certain percentage of fees will be deducted after the withdrawal transaction is recorded on the blockchain. The exact amount credited will depend on the specifics of the receiving platform. Deflation rates vary by token, which can be found on the withdrawal page.
(2) Calculation:
Actual withdrawal amount = (Withdrawal amount - Withdrawal fee) × (1 - Deflation rate)
(3) Take CWIF as an example:
Withdrawal fee: 370,000 CWIF
Withdrawal amount: 1,000,000 CWIF
Deflation rate: 4%
Actual aithdrawal amount = (1,000,000 - 370,000) × (1 - 4%) = 604,800 CWIF
